As many have known, I've just came back from Taiwan less than a week ago. And yes, I owe photos.. Post about the trip shall be extended till tomorrow (probably) since I'm not in the best place to type a blog entry about my awesome Taiwan trip..

Here I am right now in the guard room, waiting for Mr. Time to tick pass.. 17 more hours to go~ argh! I really dislike sat duties.. Its a total waste of my Saturday doing something which I see no purpose in. But its ok. 5 more months to go man~

Missing the peeps in LifeUnited! Haven't seen them for 2 weeks already.. And missing their awesome company.. All the laughters and catch ups are is something I look forward to every week. :/

Well, gotta get back to "work".

I really need to start thinking about what I wanna achieve this year and probably start working my way towards it rather than being in this oozy dooozy world. Haha! Just saying..

Felt so blessed today! Had a great start in the morning and got a surprise belated (not the point) Christmas gift!! And the gift didn't appear in my wish-list but its one of the things that I really love a lot. Thanks to Damian and Ker Yuan for this awesome gift!! Its really like those "God sent" kind of gift. Heh.

And of course, not forgetting the card that Ascot gave. It was so encouraging to see what he wrote to me and I'm grateful to have such a brother. I can't help but be reminded that His grace is always with us no matter where we go. Truly, He sees the desires of our heart and will bless us with the strength to pull through everything. :)

Shall not start on my reflection yet cause 2011 has yet to end. So I'm gonna party hard and spend time with my close friends at JB! So please miss me!! Hahahaha!

Happy countdown to 2012 people!!! Start imagining all the fireworks shooting into the skyyyy!!!! :D

Christmas time

It's finally nearing the end of the year and we all know that Christmas is just around the corner.. We all know Christmas is about a time of thanksgiving and well, celebrate Christ's birth. But for me, it has a meaning more than those mentioned.

I believe, that Christmas is a time where people come together and appreciating each other. People whom we see, meet and talk to everyday. If not for those people, a whole year of events would have worn us out. And eventually, just be sick of life. I cannot deny that 2011 has many ups and downs for myself, but I choose to enjoy the presence of these people in my life. No matter how busy I used to be, I just want to really slow things down to appreciate and spend time with them.

A great friend told me not too long ago, I should learn to slow my pace down and be comfortable in it. My reply at that point was "The only time I feel comfortable in slow paced life is when I'm chilling at cafes like Starbucks". Haha! Quite funny. But thinking back, well, I should really learn to take things a little slower.

Other than that, Christmas is just all about sharing what we have with others around. Your joy, experiences and love is one of the few things we each can freely spread around. People often think that to share is to have financial involvement, but I beg to differ. The reason to share is because you want others to have that same positive feeling within you. Of course, gifts are welcome as a form of appreciation and sharing. But sharing of love and joy is way more powerful than anything else.

Tonight, I'm going for a caroling session with my church mates. We're going around a few places to just sing Christmas carols to the people around. I'm so excited about it because its when everyone does something together, the presence of joy and love becomes a lot stronger. And I'm not saying that we are professional singers who sings at 100% accurate pitch and tone. But what matters is the purpose of us doing this. I believe this helps to bring Christmas mood to a higher level to the people around us and for ourselves too!

As a few may have mentioned it before, this year's Christmas is definitely different of the previous years. And I'm glad to be a part of this :)

its been a year plus already.. how time flies...

i still remember him as a quiet person sitting there not hardly talking to anyone.. and sometimes i felt sian trying to make him talk. and now, he's this person whom talks and share about how he feels..

and tomorrow, he's gonna fly back to shanghai first thing in the morning.. probably wont be back for the next few years..

there's this thing about good-byes that i hate. and that's separation. but i guess its part of life. i shall learn to take it more openly.

my friend. do remember to continue loving the people around you and sharing your talents to impact others. you may see yourself as someone who is not so capable, but i believe in what is being placed in your life.

Just looking at crowds walking past while sitting at a cafe enjoying a cup of iced tea. Some people move at a fast pace, while some just take their time to move from one end to another. So what pace should we set for ourselves? Fast? Slow? I wonder. Different people different objectives in life. Different purpose in life to achieve. Sometimes it makes you think about how much have you achieved in that purpose that has been given to you.

So, what exactly is my purpose again? I think I kinda lost a little of that along the way.

Gotta push myself a lil more. Just a lil more to get a clearer view....

Today is one of those days where I get to kick back and enjoy the "actual" pace of life. You know, listening to music and just doing whatever you wanna do.. Ahhh.. The life.

Its also a great time to reflect and well, jot down my thoughts over here. Since I rarely update this blog of mine, take this as a chance to make it seem like someone is using it. HAHA

Two questions I've gotten from quite a number of friends. I would, after much reflection as well, like to answer these two questions. Hopefully, shedding some light into my life.

Question #1:

Why are you always packing your everyday??

HAHA! Number one question I get from many of my friends. They are either referring to myself being hard to "book" to go out or forever seeing me moving from places to places.

Well, there's a few reasons which I've came to a conclusion to. And the one that occupies the most portion is my thought about time available. See, all of us have 24hours to ourselves. Sometimes, it just seems that we cannot finish what we're supposed to do. Like catching up with certain people, building relationships with family, doing assignments or projects and many more. In my perspective however, the time is more than enough. It all boils down to how you use your time. Like a chinese phase (after direct translation) says, many small things about to one BIG thing. And time seemed to work this way. Little time here and there not doing anything equates to alot of time wasted on doing nothing. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying we must use every second of our lives doing something meaningful. What I meant is in general, try not to waste our time. I for one, don't like taking naps. I feel that its generally a waste of time.

The other reason is because of my high-"I"-ness. For those who are wondering what in the world is high-"I" or even the word "I", it is a behavioral profiling term for people oriented personnel who are very active socially. In another words, cannot be alone. HAHA. And with that simple explanation, it kinda explains it all. Right?

Lastly, the things that I'm involved in currently are things that I'm passionate about. It pretty much sums it all since people with no passion will not last long. Take Trybe for example. Who skips things to go for programs (ok, keep it a secret)? And I would like to emphasize that I would never use my time on places which I'm totally not interested in as reason is stated above (about time given daily). Other than that, I believe certain things that I'm doing will mould myself to become someone who is better. In terms of skills, knowledge and experience. And there are opportunities that may just come once and that's it. Wouldn't it be a shame if a big big door is open right in front of you but you chose to let it close forever?

To conclude, I prefer packing my day with activities that will allow maximum usage of time and getting the "people" result. So, one advice. "Book" me in advance. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Question #2

WHY YOU NO WANT iPHONE?!

HAHAHAHA! I get this alot too.. Especially after getting my BB after enlistment. Here's a few reason (in my own perspective)...

One, I feel that iPhone is just a device for people who are really bored in life. Thus, they need games to entertain them every now and then. Yes I know you can put lots of music, videos and games inside due to the memory space available and the WIDE range of apps which is available in the apple store. So what?? Does that down the value of BB? I believe that the phone should be one that helps you make your everyday life more convenient. Looking at how the purpose of mobile devices changes through time, a phone should be one that customs to the user's needs. Therefore, nope to iPhone.

Second, the battery life of iPhone really sucks. I mean, look at the people all around you!! How many are using portable chargers while using the phone?? They even need to charge it 2-3 times a day in order to sustain the phone's life. WALAO. I totally cannot stand it. If I'm using a phone that needs to be charged constantly, I would rather use it with the charger plugged into the socket 24/7. Isn't it so troublesome to keep charging your phone? And the iPhone looks kinda retarded with the portable charger sticking out. Talk about portable designs.

Next, I dislike touch screen ONLY phones. Get it right, there's the "only" word there. So I don't mind having a touch screen phone BUT it needs to come with a minimum 12 keys keypad. This is to ensure that I can still use my phone even if the screen is off calibrated. Imagine having to touch the extreme side just to tap on the centre screen icon? So irritating right??!!

Lastly (for now), the durability of the phone is way worse than many phones out there. Drop once, DIE. Simple. As I'm not known to be a careful user, having an iPhone means changing it every now and then. Why? Refer to my second statement of this paragraph. Therefore, it is not cost saving to get an iPhone even if the speed is better than my BB. That I admit.

To conclude, the BB offers better factors which suits my needs. And I still feel that having a BB doesn't mean I'm missing out the goodness of iPhones. Well, I can just use my friends one what. :P

Ok. So I hope this shed some light into... Whatever you wanna call it. Ok, back to "work"!

Is it hazy today or my vision is blurred?? Can't really make it out but oh wells, not important.

So here I am, at ION Orchard's Coffee Bean slacking and looking at people.. It's been awhile since I've last done this on a nice weekend.. Seriously speaking, life has been pretty hectic with many things going on and I kinda lost touch with having a lone time Sunday.

Many things may have happened over the past month, but I believe that better things are still ahead. I'm hoping that I'll continue to learn how to let go and look forward.

God, I trust in you and I know that I'm the disciple whom You love. :)

and then.. i missed the "acc" days all of the sudden..

didn't know why but i do miss the whole group of us eating dinner together, doing great things and the starbucks fellowship session..

sometimes, you just wish that the events in life can be cut and paste over certain period of your life.. that way, you'll never have this feeling of missing something...

Its been a long long while since I had a whole Sunday to myself. Usually it'll be packed with meeting people or doing some stuff that requires alot of my attention.

Its nice actually.. To sit in a cafe alone with a cup of Hazelnut Latte, using my MacAir... browsing through Facebook status updates and watching a couple of videos here and there... this IS the sunday life..

Well, I'm definitely not complaining about my usual Sundays.. But having to slow things down a little at times can be really refreshing and well, reflective.

Recently I've been real busy with things at LifeUnited. There's YouthUnited, our grand opening next saturday and P.O.P Gen Camp coming.. Its gonna be alot of time and effort and brain juice put in.. And I gonna foresee myself being really busy with lesser time with friends around..

I've been talking to this friend of mine a few weeks ago.. sharing about how is our involvement and also some thoughts + feelings with it.. Sometimes, it can get real tiring keeping up with this pace of life. Just a sneak peak, here's how my week looks like...

Monday - In camp, go through whatever I have to, awaits songs selection

Tuesday - In camp, go through whatever I have to, received songs selection, starts thinking about who to do what

Wednesday - In camp, go through whatever I have to, confirm who doing what for saturday, start thinking of lighting

Thursday - In camp, go through whatever I have to, still thinking of lightings, confirm with others what else needs to be done

Friday - In camp, go through whatever I have to, more or less confirm lightings, go home, rush over for LGM (alternate weeks)

Saturday - Wake up, go out, reach church, starts putting on lightings, edit, change, rehearse, actual service, pack up, fellowship (usually reach home after 12midnight)

Sunday - Wake up, lunch at home/with friends, out with friends, home for dinner, pack for book in, book in..

And the cycle continues... At this point, I'd like to emphasize that I'm not complaining, just listing it down for myself to see actually.

Back to the conversation with my friend, I was sharing how tired I can get at times doing all these. I mean, it does get very draining over a period of time.. especially when the pace is fast and there's constant need to "upgrade".. it is good actually to constantly seek improvement, but sometimes too fast meant people can die off fast..

Well, at least I'm proud to have friends who are very supportive of me and encourages me along the way. I think thats why I'm still keeping on what I'm doing without regrets. And most importantly, its the joy of seeing everyone moving together and reaching for a higher cause.

Got reminded about a praise song that was sang a few times at service... the chorus goes:

Let God arise

Let us behold Him and bow down

He leads us all

Through battles won

God is our victory

We shall rise

Very true indeed. God has won everything for us.. so we don't have to worry so much about what is ahead. All we need is to walk the path that has been laid down for us. Very simple yet difficult thing to do.

In all, I'm still gonna give my all for LifeUnited cause I believe as Pastor DT has shared.. We are called LifeUnited because out of the ashes will come forth LIFE in Christ.

9 months later..

Alright.. No one is giving birth or what. But 9 months later refers to myself being enlisted for 9 months. Well, pretty much has changed (in certain ways) and I'm here to pen them down so that I can refer back in the future.

9 months. A time that isn't very long nor short. Things are pretty much limited due to the new rule of staying in by the new Chief of Army (as many have heard from me).. Its pretty irritating actually. Now that I can't go out every night to do stuff or meet people. But I guess its also a time for me to get to know the peeps in my camp better. Which I do see an improvement on that.

Having to be in the army for 9 months, I've learnt to look at things at different views at all times. Sometimes you do things and feel that its kinda pointless. But looking at another perspective, well, it kinda makes sense to do it. Not that I'm leaning towards guys being in army, but it does train me to improve on something. Though I still think that making all guys to enlist is a very wrong move. And a waste of time I must emphasize.

Anyways, lately my unit has been busy with stuff and I'm well, pretty stretched out by it. Physically and mentally. But its also a good time for me to enlarge my capacity if I wanna take on more things in future. In a couple of weeks, I'll be going on a course for around 7 weeks. And at the end of it, I'll be ranked 3rd Sergeant. Honestly speaking, it is not something that I really would want to aim for. Due to possible politics issues going around, I'm not very keen in getting the rank as it will mean that I'll be involve in such politics indirectly. With that, I feel that my friends might drift a little away from me since I would be involve in heavier responsibilities. And these responsibilities sometimes meant that I will need "draw line" with the others. Sigh. Not something which a high I would like. :/

Even with all these thoughts going through, I believe its something that is from God and I shall not miss that opportunity given. Trusting in Him that it will be something that will destroy relationships but rather, building stronger ones.

I wanted to type out something regarding the upcoming GE.. but thinking of my current situation, I guess I better not. So I shall skip this portion.. But people (who actually reads this) who wants to hear my view, just drop me a call/sms and we can chill to talk about it! HAHA!

ok.. my brain is kinda stuck on what to write after a SMS came in. So I'll stop here for now.. My BB is dying so I gotta be more careful in using it too.. haha! SIGNING OFF!

Alright. I just can't get what's happening lately.. From ATP till today, it just feels that almost everything is not going on the right track. MAN! I feel so down right now.

Enough of ATP talk, you guys can just refer it to the previous posts for more info about it. But Saturday was one pretty hard hit on me. Well, talking about chorus board can just kill me in an instant. Xue not being around, wrong spelling on the lyrics and well, pretty much some things are not covered well. Sigh. I hope this wont last even the next 2 weeks.

Then I kinda get rejections on almost everything lately as well.. From meet ups to other stuff. Its just SIAN TTM!!! And i really mean TO THE MAX!

I need a break. A break from all these wrong tracking stuff. I need and must get back!!!!!

why? because of sore right eye. gopi even joked about me probably dying soon to have the same infected area twice -.-

and i guess maybe japan's radiation thinngy hit my eye. therefore the soreness.. in any way. its not fun at all. cause people might think i chao keng or that i just wanna slack.. and its the wrong time for it!! totally!!! i hope it doesnt affect some things within camp. hmm...

well, so i'm waiting for my turn and was a little bored. so just wanna share a little thought i'm having to those reading my blog.

ok. i need to rant.

today. is really not my day. perhaps i woke up from the opposite side of my bed. perhaps i'm still in my dream. perhaps the devil just decides to play the game of life with me today. everything just seems not to go right!!!

alright. maybe the morning wasn't that bad. but the hours went into my sleep was not enough. definately.

the range for today totally sucks. from the score to the safety spec and my mood. the whole series was triggered by a small small act. and the outcome was disasturous. and now, i'm feeling so sian and pissed at the same time!! hate it when i feel that way. it just doesn't feels right.

sigh. i hope that night time will be better. i just pray for focus that can last me through the remaining hours so that i get to go home asap. and by asap, i really mean asap.

A New Day.

Was at CHC's first weekend service at Suntec Convention today. The focus on this first service is A New Day. On how God has made a new day in the midst of all the "whoo-ha"s going around CHC. That focus, brought me to another perspective. And that's LifeUnited Church.

LifeUnited Church has been established for 1 month and 2 weeks. It was born out of obedience towards God's purpose and the support from a strong 30+ people in ex-DT Zone. Well, I'm one of the 30 that made the decision to follow Pastor. Till now, and I can even confidently say, to the far future; I do not regret this decision to follow the calling of God in order to take a step closer to that purpose which has been set for me. It is indeed a new day for those who are in LifeUnited. New environment, new attitude, new mindset and new vision. It's far more than just a "new day".

In this season, I'm very glad to be surrounded by supportive friends whom understands and rejoice with me. To be honest, I secretly expect quite a number of people who will throw their doubts and rejection onto me when they know about the decision. To my surprise, none of this secret expectation happened. Or well, at least it's not shown on the surface. I really thank God for the favour from friends that are really close to me. Most importantly, be able to see with me the reason of my choice.

Back to this new environment, it's a new start for me as well. Taking up Media Team as part of the church's ministry, it is a learning journey which I never regret walking on. I can honestly say that it isn't my best choice that I would wanna make for a ministry in this new church. And probably not my primary ministry considering my SHAPE/talents. But, it does mould me in various aspects of my life which I feel God is doing His work to prepare me for the future plans. One would be the constant mindset of having a breakthrough in what we have. Never to settle for the "ok" but aim to move to "great". Without that mindset, we can never move forward and closer to the final destination that is set for us. I'm sure that God intends to make LifeUnited an awesome church.

The other thing which I would "rant" about is the time that I've lost in catching up with my Life Group members. Due to "reach early and going off late", I've much lesser time to spend on the members. I kinda hate that feeling where I have to leave earlier when at lunch, or only to join in pretty much later for dinner where everybody is almost done. It really doesn't feel as good as joining them throughout. Sometimes I do wonder if I've gave my best in connecting with them considering the time I can spare. And it doesn't help when you're a people-oriented person. But I guess the meaning of sacrifices comes in and to trust in God for the plans that He allowed to happen. Praying that He will help/guide me to build strong relationship with my Life Group members with the shorter time available to spare.

Well. LifeUnited is definitely a place where I've grown even more and I believe I will step closer to my purpose which He has put in place. Regardless of all the challenges ahead, I will press in together with the great bunch of people who are running this journey.

So the year has started and its already March!

For the lack of ideas for titles, lets just leave it that way ok? Ha.

Alright. New year with new things happening. Things seemed to be on a faster pace this year with all the things clustering and flowing in like a buffet free-flow drink. I'm not 100% sure if I can make it through all the things that's coming, but I'm sure God's grace allows me to do so. Praying hard that I will not screw things up again and that I can follow through those promises, especially those that comes with expectations.

Things are rather mundane in camp lately. And with the return of the tyrant, I guess things are going to get a little tougher. Ok. not just a little. Haha. So I guess its lesser meet-ups on the weekdays and trying to complete things before the weekends comes. I do hope I can survive through the next 2 - 3 months. The crucial part. I sense that things will be alot more different (I can't find the right word yet) after this period.. No idea what it is though. Hmm...

Well, somethings are hard to revert back to the past and life still gotta get on. I guess its alot on how we wanna take it and also deal with it. Never easy I'll say, but I gotta try. My "quote of the season" would be: It is easy to create, hard to build and takes effort to maintain relationships." and I really really trust in that statement alot. Like ALOT.

Talk about life, let me talk a little about LifeUnited. Things are going pretty well over at LU and I'm very excited about the things that are coming our way! New place (i hope) and probably new ways of doing things.. Been in the Media Team for a few weeks and definately it can be pretty stressful. But I'm sure with the support of great team members, the ministry team will be better and bring in NEW things for LU! Thanks to Xue, Edward and Diao for making Media Team one that is FUN and full of learning opportunities!! :D WE GONNA ROCK LIFEUNITED CHURCH!! WOOHOO!!! hahaha

On a happy note, weUwe is gonna start up real soon!! Seeing lots of progress in it and of course, comes with lots more work to do before it can be official!! Will give you guys more updates on it as it'll be kinda like a secret thinggy for now. HAHA. Well, I promise that this is something really awesome and worth waiting for!!!! Heh heh..

ALRIGHT!! So finally, its official!! Not to everyone yet, but I'm excited!!

Although 2011 didn't start out very well (or should I say the WORSE start of the year I had), I still believe that God has control over every situations.

Just as how I decide to take a step of faith to follow His calling, I will choose to believe that He will bring me through everything. For He has a plan that will prosper me in every areas of my life and not to destroy me.

God, I pray that 2011 will be a year where You will bring me closer to Your plans. And I also pray for strength to guard my mind and heart, following through things that I have said. Most importantly, teach me to prioritize my matters in accordance to the core of my life.

So.. 2010 has been a year filled with many things that I'm involved in.. its a journey of many beginnings and also endings. There's just far too many things that I can't possibly write it down in this blog (esp. with 15min left before meeting people to go over Mark's).. But I wanna take this time to reflect upon 2010.

Jan to Feb was my last 2 months in Poly. Still chiong-ing projects and assignments, I remember still being relax about my final examinations that will determine my final results. Went for exams, and poof! END OF POLY DAYS!!

Apr came with the letter of enlistment and also my graduation ceremony. It marks both an ending and a beginning of another phase of my life. For graduation, its not really that touching or what. Cause i didn't feel THAT attached to the school. But still, I've spent 3 years of my life in there!! The 3 years have been pretty smooth sailing for me I guess. I have a good working group whom seemed very dependent on my decisions for every project and group work (not that its good or bad).. went through exams after exams, slacking my way through. But I really thank God for the final results and I'm very satisfied with it. Of course, I can say I could have done better if I were to put in more effort. But, I shall just be satisfied with the effort I've put in!

Came enlistment letter. To be honest, I felt nothing. Or rather excited to go in. Thinking of being able to meet so many new people and knowing that there'll be alot of "working together" time, it seemed pretty alright for me. Ok. Fine. I admit. I used the word FUN. haha! Anyway, apr till aug flew pass with me helping out in ACC and also Trybe. I never felt that I've wasted my 4 months because I'm doing something that I like. And most importantly, I feel that I'm doing God's work in this process.

So came enlistment day till now. I seriously think that its a waste of my 2 years. But since its a no choice thing, I kinda just focus on making the best out of it. I remember a friend saying, "its either the bottom or the top of the pyramid that you should be in". And I really agree with it. I thank God for getting me in PES C and also into Technician (as much as I have ZERO interest in Engineering PLUS i'm not good at machines). I think its really a place where He has placed me in so that I can do His work within the marketplace. I feel His presence despite many OTs I have to do upon my first 2 weeks in camp, and it really felt that everything is planned properly + nicely for me!

Anyway, this whole year is a year filled with many interesting events. I would first like to thank all my friends who stood by me and kept me company in 2010. It has been really awesome knowing all of you and that I appreciate all that you've contributed into my life.

I believe that this year is a year where all of us grew alot in various areas of our lives. Without each individual, I believe the ME right now will be very different. I've learnt alot of my leaders and also fellow members whom helped me through different times. Thank you all for listening to me, sharing things with me and also allowed me to be a part of your life. Many more wonderful years ahead of ACC regardless of your decisions!!! :))

so. here's hoping that 2011 is another great year filled with many wonderful events happening. Most importantly, learning to walk closer to His purpose for me and to be more like Him :D

Surprise to see this blogpost??? Questions about why in the world am I updating my blog on a Tuesday afternoon??? Here's the answer...

I had high fever on Monday morning and was sent back home... "MC" for 3 days before going back to Tekong.

Shiok? Partly yes.. The other part? Cause I can't go out and I miss being with my section mates. Well, they had their enjoyment throwing grenades and doing area cleaning + rifle. HAHA!

Anyway, that isn't the whole point of updating.. Just wanted to share some thoughts and feelings about my first 3 weeks into NS..

Well, I can say for now is I really enjoy my first 3 weeks on Tekong.. Excluding the scoldings and te-kaning, I feel that it is really fun! Having to do things together, helping each other and knowing more people in a deeper manner is what I feel is awesome about the BMT period.. the times where we remind each other to bring our cards, waking each other up and helping to jaga each other's rifle when going toilet is what brings us closer in each section and platoon...

Kestrel Coy can really be very strict and jia-lat. But I feel that it is also part of their DNA to make the recruits better than the others. Like drawing arms or area cleaning, I feel that they want to set a kind of standard so that other coy can follow.. (which I heard the drawing/returning of arms is something which other coy is following).. Platoon 1. Its where the sergents have super high expectations out of the recruits. I mean, when we look around, we really get it alot from our sergents. But looking back, if not for their strictness & pickiness, we would not have survivied through alot of things. So thank you Sergent Idzhar and Sergent Amin for your pickiness. HAHA!

So like I said, I was sent back home on Monday morning. Took the 11am ferry to go back to the mainland. I had the previlledge to have Sergent Amin with me to "send me off". I pretty enjoyed my time with him actually. Although at first it was kind of awkward, but we broke the ice after awhile when we boarded "Penguin". We started sharing about our poly days, family and other things. We had quite an interesting talk and I found out that he is really a nice person. Could see that he take the platoon to his pride and had a goal for us. Too bad we only have 4 weeks with them (and now with 3 days minus off, I'm left with one more day with them!!!).. Oh well, hope we can keep in contact la..

Well, end of this week marks my end on Tekong. Time passes by pretty quickly.. soon, I will be posted to a vocation training camp where I will spend my 5 weeks there.. Hopefully I will get into the counselling vocation so that I can learn more skills during my NS days.. rather than doing other vocation which probably don't interest me as much as this. God I pray that you will arrange me into counselling vocation :)

In approximately 10hours' time, this blog can be announced dead. And the network socializing part of myself would be put into this frozen account. You know, like when you trying hacking people or to use a bot, and you kena caught or reported? HAHA!

FOP, CCHMS YCDI, Trybe's 9th Birthday celebration and 21st anniversary celebration has really been pretty tiring as the events starts either very early in the morning or it ends pretty late in the night which equals to little sleep. But I have nothing to complain about it as these are things which I'm willing to sacrifice for. :)

So, something interesting on this blog before it collect dusts.

My mum went for CCHMS YCDI program. For those who have no idea what does those initials meant, it means Chung Cheng High Main School, You Can Do It! program. Yeah. So its my mum's first time being at the program which I've been involved in for the past 3.5 years. Like kinda of "its about time my mum knows exactly what I'm actually involved in" thinggy. yeah.. So my mum was so hilarious by mentioning that she now knows that I'm not involved in some bad company (-.-) and kind of understand what am I doing (thank God!).. its really one thing to volunteer for Trybe and BRINGING your parent for Trybe programs. Its really really one of a kind.. and like what Jaime said, ALL VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BRING THEIR PARENTS ALONG!!! HAHAHAHA!! I think its going to be REAL COOL if that really happens!! heh.

anyway, 9th Birthday celebration was really awesome for me. Its the intent that really counts. From the mini games, trivia, food, cake cutting and my NS sabo, I really really thank all of the people from the bottom of my heart. As much as I can say I can't bear dumping Trybe one side, I really will be back!! like SOON! hahaha! 2 years is going to be those not-long-not-short kind of number of years, but, I'm sure Trybe will be even awesomer when I come back!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

Thank you all Trybe staff for all your guidance and sharing throughout. All the fun times we had together making fun of each other and teasing each other. Doing pranks on some people and most importantly, serving the youths together.

2nd Aug.
The day where everything over here stops.
The day where everything kinda restart itself.
The day where I can no longer text "Hey, free to meet up?".
The day where I would feel that there's nowhere better than home.

Ok. I'm not emo-ing over here. Just stating some facts which I foresee myself thinking or not doing.

Well, people have been asking me how do I feel now that NS is like really REALLY near. And even I myself can't really answer that question. If you do want to know an answer, its 50-excitement and 50-sian.. Let me break it down for you guys.

50-excitement.

SO, high I person like me loves meeting new people. Of course if they are a lil "Dao" at first, I would totally not bother to interact with them for the start. BUT, its really something new and I would like to go and see what's installed for me!! Can't deny that it would be an adventure where you kind of find out more about yourself and things which I think I thought I couldn't do.. Hmm.. Really interesting. AND, its kinda like a "FINALLY" thing for me since I've been on holidays since like feb period?? yeah.. too much holiday kills the mood.. and I think Peter couldn't agree more than this. LOL..

50-sian.

As one thousand and one people knows, I have ALOT of activities outside my house! So NS = no going out, meeting friends, no TRYBE, no whatever-else-he-is-involved-in... and yes, Trybe is in CAPS! its like one of the major thing in my life. So not being able to be available for that kind of makes me feel like a BIG BIG part of my flesh is being taken away. Yes, as exaggerating as it sounds, I do really really feel super duper uber sian about not being able to go for any Trybe prgorams. Although those on Saturdays I would still try to make it since I should book out on Friday nights, so I hope that will at least make it up a lil tat bit.

So am I ready and prepared for NS??

ANSWER: 70-30!!!

HAHAHAHA!! 70% ready because I got almost all the stuff needed, just yet to packed. I think I'm more or less kinda in the going-to-army-mode already. So yeah. Considered ready la hor?? And the remaining 30% comes from the high I self which still can't get over the fact that I can't go out on weekdays and SMS and go Facebook and check emails and watch anime and read online manga and make phone calls and tweet as and when I like. Yeah. Just these few things la huh.. :P

ok.. totally random. I can't think of a better way to start this blog post. Seriously, I feel that I should blog more often. Although I know that there isn't many bloggers or readers that will be reading MY blog. But I really feel that this is a very good space for me to articulate out my thoughts and erm, well.. get things out from my head especially when there isn't anyone whom you can really talk to at that particular moment where you just need to let things out.

anyway, this week is really interesting... By this interesting, I meant REALLY FUN kind of interesting. Unlike the previous post's "interesting". yeah..

I think no NP Year 1 peeps will be reading this *fingers crossed*

Anyway, was at NP helping out Rohei on Tuesday and Thursday to prepare for the coming week. Its for theit Jumpstart Challenge which apparently replaces the previous CATS module.. wah! How I wished I was a Year1 student now.. Wait. I don't wanna be a Year1 student AGAIN. ok.. rephrase. I meant how I wished my CATS module was like now. ahhh.. that sounds more correct. hahaa! anyway, I'm sure the 3000++ Year 1 people would love this.. and MUST LOVE IT OK!!! alot of work has been put into it.. heh.. and that explains how I got my blue-black on my right arm. hmm.. yeah.. Thank God for Hafiz and Kenzo who were there on Tuesday.. if not, I will not have survived through that day with all the moving of things!! GOSH! They were REALLY REALLY HEAVY CAN!!!! its like carrying tons of elephants together!!!

So forward a lil. Wednesday. Met up with Jo-nafy (combination of Joel and Hanafy, Basia's new invention) to go to Ubin for cycling. Seriously, its really fun and tiring. But I really love the company with these two bickering couple. HAHAHAHAHA! yes! they just bicker bicker and bicker non-stop.. its like well, they are together kind of thing. LOL. I think they are going to kill me if they see this. MUAHAHAHA. ok.. back to topic. So we covered the whole Ubin and went to all kinds of route. Yes. ALL kind of routes. Those with stones, roots, mud, soil, grass, ulu, non-ulu, roads, sands, pebbles. We went to every single one.. Pretty tough as compared to PUT 2009 with W325, but its alot more fun and challenging.. haha! Joel has this endless energy within him and his legs.. He just keeps on cycling and cycling and cycling and cycling.. and acted like a kid too.. hahaha! but I really kao-tao to him la.. really can tahan the whole cycling journey without much stopping.. unlike Hanafy and myself -.-

so fast forward again. came Friday. What did I do? oh yes! went to Trybe in the morning for a supposed photoshoot. Didn't happen but then had lunch with the staff. Had a great time chatting, laughing and making fun of some people.. it was great lunch company.. so then did some stuff before heading down to Mark's for ComMtg.

So after service yesterday, Phoebe suggested to watch Inception (!!!) but to everyone's disappointment, ALL TICKETS WERE SOLD OUT!!! WAHLAO! Sian 999/1998 can!! its like a little sian, BUT, some of us managed to chill out at Starbucks instead..

OH OH!!! Got to know this really cool guy called Danson.. yeah.. his family kind of moved over to shanghai because of his dad's work, and he recently came back for NS.. He really really is an awesome guy!! easy to talk to and stuff like that.. well, had a great time knowing him...

SO! back to Starbucks. Some of us started playing Monopoly Deal (like THE game right now) and chatted.. Roy was being a lil irritating by repeating "Steal your money. Steal your property". Kind of funny la.. haha! I managed to win one round out of 3, so it wasn't that bad. Took a bus home with Melina and then walked from BP.. it was a good time to talking and sharing our primary school experiences.. like how we call nicknames of different teachers and laugh at it. heh..

ALRIGHT! GOING OUT ALREADY!!! Can't sit too still on my chair lest I become a statue. HAHA! ADIEU!

So, end of june and start July was pretty much an eventful time for me.. all the *gasp*-ing stuff and getting to spend more time with some people whom I really look up to...

putting aside the *gasp*-ing things... i would really wanna express how I feel about things that have been going on lately.. I think my relationship building skill has been practically been put to use like every single day.. its awesome when you get to spend time with people whom you look up to and get to know them more.. its like, pressing into their lives and find out how they survived through certain season of their lives... I always believe everyone has something to share that will value-add to your own life and it certainly is very very true... been learning alot about others and myself lately which I think I'm kinda *blech* about myself... I'm toooooooooooooo lazy at times and I just realise that I'm starting to lose the touch of conducting a session!!! ARGH!! hopefully NS doesn't destroy my comm skills in conducting a program whenever I get to in future.. *with fingers and toes crossed*

anyway, I'm really hoping that this month can be a really fruitful month for me.. not just because I'm enlisting in a month's time, but I feel that I can do so much more (a.k.a be more fruitful) in the things that I'm committed in doing.. like catching up with a few people whom I've not seen in monthsssssss, the programs that I go for and many other stuff. I do hope that I can continue to impact more lives and i really wanna learn alot more from experiences..

oh oh!!! I think games and I are like a couple.. it never leaves me... -.- I mean, games = BR is kind of like the equation in every one's mind.. I don't detest it.. actually its very enjoyable to do games becaue you get to laugh at what others do during the games (like how today cell BBQ's game went... you will never belief what you saw!!) and I really like spreading the joy of being fun, cool and relaxed to others... but but but.. i really need to stock up and update my games database... alot of games have been used before and I usually don't like to re-use games.. HAHA! any ideas please email me or text me to let me know!! well appreciate it!!! :PP

seems like lately I've been encountering alot of last minute cancellation of outings/gatherings/meeting ups with some group of friends and things been going very smoothly for other group of people.. Hmm... I wonder what that means..

anyway, coming week is gonna be really exciting!!! I'm gonna enjoy and I shall proclaim that I will have many many many breakthroughs!!!!

Its a place of many of my first time..

First time being class commandent (on my very first volunteering experience with them @ kranji Sec Camp)

First time being in logistics with 2 ladies at a 280++ boys camp

First time sharing stories and experiences in front of a class

First time going through equipping session to be a class lead for YCDI

First time being a lead in a YCDI session

First time teaming up with adults in leading and telling them what to do (VERY NERVOUS ONE OK!!)

First time planning Sports Day for people within the community

First time planning Camp for the volunteers and staff

First time coming up with workshop content out of nothing

First time brain-storming for programs for schools

First time where games that I taught of became a permanent tool for Trybe (should charge copyright fee?? :P)

First time intern for my school internship program

First time getting to go out with staff and listen to their life stories and sharing

First time liaising with organizations for school projects

So.. its really a place of many "first times" for me. and these are really good memories for myself..

people asked me why I volunteer. Or some people are just shocked to know that there ARE people who still volunteer in this century or era or whatever you wanna call it. And I can surely tell you that I am proud to be volunteering at Trybe!! :D

It started off by this young and handsome boy who just finished his GCE O-level examination and waiting for Poly school term to start. And knowing that the very first program, at year 2007, was at kranji sec, this boy happily said he wanted to volunteer to help out... Of course, that point of time was for him to enjoy and kinda like, fill up the time during the holidays...

So one program after another, camps after camps, I finally know this is one place that I should be in. Yes, sometimes I will be very packed with things at Trybe. And maybe I did go a little toooooo many camps, but I really love the time spent with the students. Not just because they are around my age (which I'm getting older. Don't remind me), but its the opportunity to impart experiences to them that makes the time so fruitful and enriching. Spending time (especially at camps) with them makes me feel like I'm doing something worth-while. Now don't mistake that other time I'm doing some meaningless stuff out of Trybe, but its just the feeling that I get everytime I volunteer at Trybe.

if I had not had that faithful meeting with an ex-intern, I wouldn't have known Trybe and the wonderful people that I have around me right now. Without the volunteering experience, I would have never found out how passionate I was about youths. Without Trybe, things will be very very different in my life.

So over here (maybe not the best place), I would like to thank all the staff for their input into my life. All the jokes, meals, brain-storming sessions, feedbacks, guidance, invitations and the many other times we had together was something that I do not regret having and I really really really am truely greatful for your patience and care towards me.

Yes. I'm back from the land of Lippo Cikarang...

car keeps coming to fetch you to all places even when the place is 10minutes walk away

time spent with brothers and sisiers are awesome

plane flight is just about 1.5hours

My 1st mission trip and won't be the last. It has been an exciting journey for me from preparing for the trip till the end of the trip. What I can really say is that people are not bluffing you when they encourage you to go for a mission trip or tripssssssssssss. Its really really awesome and you can really learn alot of things.

Firstly, I really wanna thank Phoebe for the opportunity and the green light to go for the mission trip.. Even though I only got my passport like very last minute, I thank God for all the smooth going before flying off.. thank you for all the support and encouragement along the way too..

Also, the mission team for making the trip so awesome.. the company with great people coming from all walks of life.. the time spent in talking, sharing and doing things together is really really really fun!! Even though we had late night practices till 4, 5am, having to wake up only 2hours later, rushing to prepare for the start of each event and moving the instruments + percussion from place to place, everything was super fun!!

The trip made me think of my area of talents. As this trip is to promote the Emerge Camp at Lippo Cikarang (LC in short), we had to do performances in the various venue and during one of the church's special event. Well, we have Roy & Jeff who plays awesomely with their guitar, Elson who sings and practically can do many other things, Jamie and Sheryne on the fashion side, Siyun with her flute, Melina with all her gung-ho-ness to do things, Jacob being the one man percussion band, Ron for playing percussion well, etc... (I can't think properly still...) So i began thinking what can I really do over there.. Pastor Darren did asked me before what can I do best... and to tell the truth, I can't really answer that. I know I can connect well with people, especially those near my age. But, useful meh?? I mean when you are going for performances and stuff, its like.. erm... no link lah.. so I kinda question myelf when going there..

but turns out.. its very different from what I questioned myself with... Last minute challenges such as acting, emcee-ing and house visitation came to me.. I didn't really did with much confidence at first.. but thinking its for the people over there, you tend to do things very differently... The most challenging item I had to do was drama... even though many said I was very drama-mama (acording to Elson), it is VERY DIFFERENT when the drama is being used for bringing message across... you just got to feel the character and know how to react according to how the story goes... (HARD LA. I'M NOT FROM DRAMA MINISTRY ONE OK)... yes.. but it was all a very very wonderful experience.. thank Pastor for the chance and the others who "sabo-ed" me to be David -.-

well, I would really love to go for the Emerge Camp but NS kinda not allow me.. God, I pray that the NS people would suddenly have a revelation from You and make my enlistment later. HAHA! Maybe for Jacob also.. if not it will be hard for the percussion side to be established.

So... today, I decided to wake up earlier to accompany my girlfriend to the market... oh! didn't I tell you all?? I'm attached!!! yes.. happily attached to my MUM! MUAHAHAHAHA!!! give you a scare didn't I :p

anyways, its been like YEARSSSSSSSSS since I last went to a market with my mum and it was great! forget about the weird smell within the market, but its quite a good time to learn from your mum. yes. I asked alot of questions today.. and oh! I concluded that setting up a stall in a market can actually give you quite a profit per day!! REALLY!! Imagine you just bought a few pieces of meat here and there, then 20 dollars -.- walao.. I can buy like 10 cups of Green Apple Italian Soda with Green Apple Jelly without pearls leh!! tsk tsk.. so that alone proves that one can make alot of profit already... also, imagine HOW MANY AUNTIES/UNCLES GO TO THE MARKET TO BUY THINGS??!! wahhhh.. like attending some concert you know?? lol..

ok.. that aside... had a great time walking around the market and having breakfast together (although mum paid for the breakfast :p) yeah.. soooooooo... must take more time to go market on saturdays or sundays if possible.. got FREE BREAKFAST! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Phew!! How fast can 17 weeks be?? Its just a blink of an eye, and here I am. Waiting to take my official last paper in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. In about 25.5 hours' time, I'm going to take my ONLY paper for this semester and it ends officially in 27hours' time!! WOOHOO!! Can't wait for paper to be over and I can really be in vacation!! Lots of things awaits before enlisting and I'm excited for it!!

Been busy with loads of stuff lately, especially for L.O.V.E NP. From the whole experience, I've received alot of breakthroughs in many areas of my life. Truly when we do His work, He shall bless us with what we need. =) Been so grateful about the past few weeks and PDL helps alot too!! Cultivating habits to grow closer to God each day so that we learn more about Him and be more like Him. :D

BANGKOK TRIP IS NEARING!! OMG!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE TIME SPENT WITH THE PEEPS OVER THERE!!! SHOPPING TIME AND RELAXATION!!! WOOHOO!!! Do pray for an awesome trip yeah?? Gotta be preparing things at the same time. While I'm leaving things in Singapore, I pray that things will become better when I come back. Hmm...

L.O.V.E NP is looking great and exciting things are coming up every week!! Been in the process of stretching my limit and capacity recently and I really thank God for all that He has for me. The blessings and guidance. Been listening to praise songs (which I need in order to expand my praise songs "collection") and this old (I'm not too sure whether to categorize it old) song caught my attention. ok.. the week started kinda @.@ due to drinking on Sunday for my birthday.. Nevertheless, I managed to wake up at wee hours to head down NP for morning prayer meeting with Melina, Jacob and Andy. Was excited yet didnt know what to expect.

After the whole morning PM, I caught a better vision of what L.O.V.E NP is going to be and I'm SUPER EXCITED ABOUT IT!!! All I can think of right now is L.O.V.E NP, L.O.V.E NP and L.O.V.E NP!! haha! I know it sounds crazy, but this is one of those things that gets my heart pounding madly because I wanna see what's the result!! WOOHOO!! HAPPY 2010 TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! (i still refuse to use Happy New Year because it really sounds like HAPPY CNY).. haha

looking back 2009, there's been alot of things that I'm proud of doing and also some that I've regretted doing. I shan't post all the things I've done in 2009 because people around me knows it!!! HAHA! so there's not much point of doing so.

Anyway, new year with new things to look ahead!! Here are some of the things that I want to achieve in 2010!!

1) Able to lead bigger group of people to impact the youths

2) Have better knowledge on mentoring youths

3) Mentoring youths (of course, esp. having 2)

4) Closer relationship within family

AND THE REST ARE PRIVATE!! hahaha!

yup... hopefully 2010 will really be a year of breakthroughs and I just gotta feeling that it will be full of challenges as welll!! JIAYOU BR!! its gonna be a good good year!! =)

Pardon the lame title. I just couldnt come out with a good one. So being lazy as usual, I just put down a random one. HAHA!

Anyway, did I ever mention I love Fridays even though there are many times where I complain about things like having the need to STILL go to school and blah blah blahs? YES! I LOVE FRIDAYS! Why?? because it means Saturday and Sunday is TOMORROW! and when the week is gone, I'm one more week lesser to my next birthday! hahahahahaha! (FYI, I'm a countdown freak to MY birthday!!)

so.... what have I learnt for this week?? There are quite a couple of things going on this week and I actually thank God for it.. I've also learnt that life sometimes, is just not so smooth all the way. haha

Before I touch on that, just wanna announce to the whole bloggers & blog reading community that I LOVE MY FRIDAY TIMETABLE!! erm, ok. More on the modules to the exact. For Fridays, I'm taking World Issues (like having to talk moe about current + global issues and to voice out opinions), Effective Negotiation and Corporate Communications. Firstly, the lecturers are FUN, especially Effective Negotiation.. He has the best pace that I like for all lessons. HAHA! Fast, direct... chop chop chop and DONE! woohoo! best of all, I totally get what he is trying to teach!! I'm so gonna be the best negotiater after this module!! WAHAHAHA! :P

Ok. so my timetable is good, but yesterday's event wasn't really good. Ok, I admit it was my fault, BUT that guy just had to go too far.. no worries. I didn't get myself into an argument or a fight. it was just a pretty small issue.. Just don't mind me, but i think that guy is tooo petty. HAHA! :P

So here's the story. There I was, with a few of my friends going to Starbucks. And I wanted to plug in my charger so I could use my laptop. Then, I chose to switch off and unplug the socket which looks like its for something useless. So the moment I switch it off and plug in MY charger, this guy came and said, "Hey! Don't you have basic manners? People are using the socket"

Well, ok fine that I switched your laptop off because of the unplugging. But hey! What's with manners with this matter?? Why don't YOU talk a little about YOUR manners. Can't you just be nice and let people know that they switched your laptop off?? What if another person happen to do it again? Are you going to copy and paste the same thing? ROAR!

So to cut long story short, he asked for my student number (which was totally NOT necessary) so that he could complain to my school. I did gave him and gave the "whatever la. You petty guy" look... anyway, WHO CARES??!! YOU STUPID LOSER! COMPLAIN FOR ALL YOU WANT DUDE! ONLY GAYS COMPLAIN! YOU CAN JUST GO AND DIE! MUAHAHAHA!

yeah.. So HECK! whatever. He just spoilt his own day. And I continued with my meeting for an event which I'm planning. HAHA!

SO... FRIDAY IS THE BEST!! I'm VERY HAPPY RIGHT NOW... don't know why. HAHAH! :P

ok.. So here I am, attending IMGT (Inventory Management) tutorial... The lecturer is still continuing his lecturer which causes me to feel slleeeepppyyy.... And thus, I've decided to go to www.fmylife.com for some short entertainment. HAHA! some good laugh keeps one awake :P

1.

Today, as I was changing my daughter's diapers I got some of her poop on my finger. I quickly flicked my hand to get it off because I was so disgusted and then hit my finger hard on the changing table. My initial reaction was to put it in my mouth to ease the pain. I should have used a wipe. FML

Today, I got pulled over for going 85mph in a 60mph zone on a highway in the Everglades. There were cars passing both the cop and me as I was being pulled over. The cop decided I was easiest to catch since I was the slowest of the bunch even though the other cars were topping 100mph.

Today, I started my first day at work, I've been unemployed for a while and am in college, so naturally I have no money. At the end of my shift, I ask what we do with the extra bread, and they tell me to throw it away. Being poor and hungry, I decide to take the bread home. I got fired for stealing.

HAHA! hope it helped to make you look at your own life more positively! =)

ROAR!!!!! Tomorrow is 19th October... not that because its Vivi's birthday, but school is starting!! AGAIN! argh! Don't have the feeling to go school and study again. I guess that's the after-math of being in holiday mode for 10 weeks. haha...

Oh God.. Pray that I will wake up for school and not be late... (even though I don't mind being late and meet vivi for lunch instead to celebrate her birthday :p)

hahaha! anyway, the holiday has been pretty fruitful I guess.. Although there were a few things that were not done/completed, its still considered a kind of achievement I guess. Well, hope that this last semester will be a POWERFUL one and will end my poly life in a BANG! shuffling is being done for this last sem. Have no idea why.. but oh wells...

okok.. So this is considered an update which I owe a few whom I told them in their presence that I would update on Friday. So, since I'm updating, might as well add in recent stuff too!! haha!!

Had mooncake festival celebration after CGM on Friday. Had some great time being able to catch up with a few people whom I don't see often. Managed to play lantern once again is AWESOME!!! haha! (only that I didn't get to burn them :( haha)..
since I was away at the far far away land called China last year, I missed out ONE YEAR of playing lantern!! haha! so this proves how much I love lanterns.... xP (actually the burning part only.. HAHA :P)

okok. so next up was service on Saturday. Before that, went to search for Marcus Yip's birthday present. Well, wasn't a simple task I can say. HAHA! went to tampines earlier to look for present and also to wait for the time to get the cake. Went over to Expo and celebrated after service. All of us went over to Marina Square after service to have out LATE dinner as usual. Managed to have some time with a couple of them....
Then, some of us decided to go hang out. Namely Jacob, Chit huat, Patrick, Jian hui and yours truly. Went over to esplanade area and then to near Fullerton Hotel area. Hang over at Starbucks and share more about each other. Its really interesting to know what they have been doing and what they have done last time. And I was really glad to be able to spend time. GREAT FELLLOWSHIP GUYS! ;)

SO... Came Sunday.. it was FUNKADELICS's 2nd year anniversary celebration!!! WOOHOOO!!!
its been quite a journey with all of the funkies.. haha! real cool and real friends. =) so we went over to Min's place for lunch first and followed by a trip to Marina Square to watch movie. We thought of watching "Meatballs" at first, but ended up deciding on Funny People. Before being able to get into the theatre to watch the movie, we had already bought the food and drinks. So we had our own time to chat while waiting.

SO, now the ranting part... THE MOVIE, "FUNNY PEOPLE", IS BORING!!! its like "funny" at first, then it just gets retarded.. The movie was freaking 2hrs 45min long with countless colorful language being used. If I were to get $1 for each vulgarity I've heard, I might just be close to being a millionaire. REALLY. all of us almost wanted to leave after 2.5hrs. And the ONLY incentive to stay was to look at the credits to see if a particular singer was inside. HAHAHA. yes i know. Stupid reason, but.... HAHAH! just us la..

back on track. We went to MS food court to eat before heading to Makan Sutra for desert. Walk around abit before deciding to take train home. Had an awesome time with the Funkies and it was kinda stress relieving... just joking around and ka-jiao-ing people all around.. haha! thats the life :P

Anyway, met up with vivi yesterday for late lunch. Had some time to talk about random and serious things too. HAHA! as usual, we just talk and talk and talk and then time was up! ARGH! how I wish time doesn't move at times. but IMPOSSIBLE la.. so halfway chatting, I received a SMS. and it was decided that I would go down to town area in my unglam clothing. haha! managed to know a new friend and it was quite a good company.. (actually i didn't had my night planned. So it was kind of "save my night" thinggy. hahaa!) minus off the irritating part when I was at Starbucks, the rest of the time was like WOW!! haha!

AND AND AND... I ATE AT QUIZNOS SUB!!! hahaa! its now NUMBER ONE on my list and subway goes to number two!! oops! but their subs are REALLY GOOD OK!!! there's even choice for soup as your sides instead of just drinks and cookies!! hahahhahaha.. its a little far, but THOU SHALL DRAG PEOPLE TO GO THERE AND EAT SOON!!!! :P

NOW for random.... DID YOU KNOW THAT THERE ARE PRAWNS THAT ARE DAMN BIG??!! hahaha! so there I was, with AGL going to shaw tower are to find Joyce... and while walking in the supermarket, we both saw this.

woohoo! September is coming to an end soon. There's pretty much things I've done and I'm pretty satisfied with what I've done during the holidays. I mean other than the lack of working out, the rest are pretty much well done :) haha!

Just to sum up my September:
1. Went for Ai Tong School to have a session with the primary school leaders. They are awesome and I'm looking forward to the overseas trip with them during start of December!! haha! Can't wait for another overseas trip. Wahahaha! :P

2. ACS International Camp. It opened up my eyes to the students in ACS International. I guess it was my 2nd time in contact with these students. All I can say is they are actually just like me and you. Well, probably just from a richer family. But still, bunch of fun peeps to be with!!! I think they are crazy as well. HAHA

3. Went to Melbourne with Maria to visit Jingwei and also to well, take a break!
Feels great being out of Singapore and also exploring different areas. Love being able to sleep on the grass in parks, walking along the busy street with shops all around and lastly, EAT & DRINK ON TRAIN!! HAHAHA! ;) fruitful trip and I hope to have it again soon with some other close friends. :D

4. Continued with Swiss Cottage project. Preparation for their OCIP. It's been a joy knowing them even though they really get on your nerves like most of the time during the session. After session and individually, they are actually really great people!! Thank God for the opportunity to be in this LLLLLOOOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG term project. I did not regret it and it really moulds my character. JIAYOU T1 and T2 for OCIP! I'm really excited about our trip at end October!! Meanwhile, work hard for your EOY yea?? ;)

5. My usual scheduling of meeting with different people to catch up and chill.. I think my life should really revolve meeting people every single day. Really enjoyed the time together, talking about things and sharing about our life.. Esp those whom I meet more often, its awesome to see them growing in character and wisdom. Being able to make more right decisions and maturing. I agree I'm not very mature as well, but I do appreciate the trust when approaching me for advices. =) thank you all for trusting in me.

Basically, its more or less like that. Just saw my timetable for my last semester in school.
PRAISE GOD FOR A FREE DAY!!! yet again! hahaha! With that free day, gotta be able to do more things! ;) hahaha! looking forward to the start of school man! it will be my last semester in there and also, I MISS STEPPING INTO SCHOOL!! Wahahaha! (I know, I know.. crazy right?? but that's what I feel!!) Anyway, its important to have positive mindset when doing things because time pass faster and it feels more meaningful spending the time. =) alrights.

alright!!! before i start, i want to correct Maria's entry first.. we woke up at 6:57am!!! NOT 7AM!!! three minutes of sleep can make one dream alot more ok... furthermore, I forgot my dream today -.- hahah! so its ok.. :P

anyway, went around the city area to explore further today... was a good trip and had alot of insights... the weather was damn cold in the morning I could say. so we both decided to hide in DFO (a shopping centre) to do a little shopping spree AGAIN. yes, again! HAHA! the weather forced us to do it ok.. so you cant blame us. Anyway, bought a top for myself and went off shopping for others. Went to this shop called JayJays and it had lots of interesting looking shirts!! HAHAHA! if yekai was there, he would go crazy. we went further to this place called Bourke Street Mall in search for crumpler, we failed but went to Target instead. Its kinda like a OG + BHG together kind of shop. pretty interesting though. They have quite interesting tops as well.. but I hestitated... shall hold on to shopping desire... if not no more ka-chings.. HAHA!

looking forward to tomorrow's tour to Great Ocean Road!! its gonna be fun and looking at AWESOME VIEWS!! not to forget, the super duper cold weather.. haha! :)

ok.. i shall blog now.. since Maria and Jingwei did so esp with a photo. I felt pressured.. I guess this is what we call, PEER PRESSURE. hahaha

anyway, had lots of good food today.. and I've spent 12aussie on a dessert which is a walnut brownie with lots of chocolate sauce and a scoop of yummy vanilla ice-cream!! hahaha!

I'm already used to the expensive-ness of aussie ONCE AGAIN. so I'm lazy to do conversion everytime I buy somthing. It makes life seem so sad. HAHa! and that explains why Maria's blog stated that I spent more than her during our mini shopping spree yesterday. Yes. I spent 150aussie on only THREE CLOTHING ITEMS!! hahaha! cannot blame me ok... blame the retailers for selling guy clothing at such pricing... WE SHOULD HAVE A PETITION!! HAHAHA!

WOOHOO!! finally arrived at the beautiful state called Melbourne!! :) Jingwei's friend, Ringo, was kind enough to pick us up at the airport and sent us to Jingwei's apartment. It was quite a good start as we know one more person!! HAHA!

reached Jingwei's apartment and settled down.. we decided to head out after a good shower to start exploring the city area.. It was quite a site as its been a long long time since I went back to Australia.. :)

we took like tons and tons of photos for Day1, considering there isn't THAT many nice scenaries yet.. according to Maria, we took 108 photos today -.- HAHA! we should try and take lesser than.. eh.. nono.. THE MORE THE MERRIER!! HAHAHAHAHA! :P

A new revelation

Ok... so it takes a ctrl + F5 to successfully revive the actual template of the blogger.. (taking it down in the notebook which has only a few blank pages left...) and that reminds me that I need to buy a new notebook -.-

Many things happened as usual. haha! I'm plain lazy to upload photos because it takes one million and one years to upload it and to arrange the position.. SO... just keep a lookout at my Facebook profile OR check through some people's blogs (like Melina, Maria, Junius?) for the pictures. HAHA!

So, had a celebration cum treat lunch at Sushi Tei on Friday before CGM with Junius and Melina. It was a planned treat to Junius whom had invested and impacted into both our lives alot. I hope he enjoyed the company and time spent. haha! We took quite a few photos, but most importantly, WE ATE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD FOOD!!! HAHA!
(P.S Mel, you want can upload the video la.. I lazy to resist. HAHA! I want people see my SKILLS!! :P)

CGM was great as usual. I think what Phoebe shared in her series of influence was really impactful. Especially for the Friday's, if you sum it up, it talks alot about the Power of Words and Visualization. And saturday at service, Pastor Phil Pringle reinforced this two areas once again! I felt that this is the season where I start visualizing what I wanna do and then go forth doing it. Speaking words of positivity is also another key in achieving your goals. :)

Ahhhh yes... Managed to meet DDL and VCXN on thursday for dinner at bugis. Had a great time catching up and talking about pretty much of nonsensical stuff.. haha! but it was really a wonderful time since both of them had not seen each other for around 8 months and MYSELF not seeing them for quite some time. oh yes. THANK YOU vivien cai xin ni for helping to choose the materials for me to do the cards.. It turned out quite well (at least I hope... W325, do give me your comments.. haha!) and yup! YOU ARE A GREAT HELP!!!! :D

ok.. now for the random thing..

I realized I have been having alot of dreams lately.. I only managed to capture 3 of them by writing them down when I wake up in the morning.. For now, all dreams DONT match at all.. It just feels so RANDOM and RANDOM. haha! yeah.. oh well.. God, if its something from You, DO LET ME KNOW HOR.. haha! :P

ok.. Ive just done calling 80 schools. My conclusion from this experience, many admin staff can be SACKED! hahahahaah! ok.. from my own point of view and taking if I'm the principal of the school. It is seriously IRRITATING!!! ARGH! ok, stop this school calling thinggy.. haha!

well, FOP just ended last weekend and it was AWESOME!! I really love the 3rd night and totally not regret staying out late for that and being late for work on the next day.. :P

yes. and I've learnt something very interesting from Mark Conner which I'm going to share right here.. For copyright, I'm just sharing part of it.. WAHAHAHAA! (you can ask me if you wanna know more :P)

Interestingly, we worry most of the time. And when we worry, it is actually something that is a watse our own energy! haha! study shows that 96% of what we worry is things which we either cant control and will never happen while the remaining 4% is something which we can do things about. SO, when we worry, we are worrying for NOTHING! :)

and to counter this waste of time and energy due to worrying, there are a few steps which you can do to reduce the wastage.

1. Write down whatever you are worrying about in your mind
Interestingly, this will give you a bigger picture on what you are worrying about exactly and so, identify the things which you can do about!! At the same time, you should then FORGET about those things which you cannot control and will never happen!

2. Do something about it!!
For those which you can control, think of an action to control it!!! If you worry about studies, GO STUDY! If you worry about NAFA test, GO SOME TRAINING! haha! simple right??

So, what about the rest that you cant control... Presenting....

3. Pray and leave things to God
Yes. There are things which only God can do something about. So throw it to God and let Him do all the work!! hahaha! :)

ok. I just got to know from Michelle that I have been keeping cockroaches behind my working seat. haha!! that explains why I've been finding all the half-dead cockroaches all around office.. I think its the cockroach dreams i had before TVC.. its creepy..

OK... to explain the WHOLE LONG story short. I came to office today and michelle was sharing her cockroach encounter yesterday with Mdm Mas. A cockroach apparent flew out of the trash bag and went over her head before landing. While an attempt to KO the cockroach with Bygone, it disappeared while they were taking Bygone. HAHA.. then they were searching throughout our working area and found that it was behind a small cabinet which was behind me. -.- so upon pulling the cabinet out, they saw THREE other cockroaches!! one small one and other two big ones.. and apparently, one of the two was "injuried" with a broken wing. something like that. HAHA!

SO! Moral of story? Check all hidden corners at your work area or home for unwanted guests! You might just be providing them with a place to stay and breed and EXPAND in influence!! HAHAHAHAHA!

anyway, met up with Clem Yaying and Joyce on Sunday. Had a great time catching up with the old times.. hahaha! gosh! the chat with clem and xyy is really very meaningful. I think we should have such meet ups soon you know?? if not ah, we will lose contact which is BBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD =( haha. but seriously, I think everyone should have such meetings with people whom has made an impact in your life. They are the ones you can share things and know more about. Giving advices and things like that. Its really nice you know.. :)

okok.. THIS i want to share.. haha!

so I was in the office in the morning, went to the pantry to take a cup of water.. and there I saw this "dead" cockroach. haha! so being naughty, I went to the cupboard to take masking tape and a marker.. went to tape the side and labeled it with "Half-dead Cockroach" as the feelers were still moving while I was doing the taping.. oh. did I mention it moved abit while I tape the floor?? I think it thought I was going to tape it. hahahaha! so I left it there as an exhibit which was commented by Jaime.. quite an interesting thing to do.. heh heh heh :P

haha! decided to post another one.. gotta chill a little after having to chiong the report.

its been erm 13weeks (school official internship date) and 20weeks (started since holiday starts) into my internship with Trybe!! WOOHOO! its been quite a great period of internship and working in the office.. its really the time where you get to see the "behind the scene" work..

Really greatful for the chance to intern in Trybe. Im starting to learn more even though I have to be up by 7am everyday (except saturdays and sundays).. well.. the time spent is really good.. althought there are times where I did the wrong things, well, you kinda know la.. the usual. but I'm still thankful for them teaching and stuff =)

Ahhhhh... 3 long term projects for now.. haha! I'm gonna hang on strong!!! but i really like the students of classes that I have taken. I think some classes I've managed to built certain level of rapport with them already.. GREAT JOB BR! haha! :D

anyway, for those in iHP and IAP, LETS JIAYOU ALL THE WAY!!! GOOD LUCK FOR VIVA!!

Phew.. just sent my 2 copies of report for binding.. haha! i think its horrifying to see so many pieces of paper being printed out and then stacked together to be bind. I think the binding machine will be afraid of binding after my report. HAHA!

anyway, the week is cool for me. One achievement was that I ate a Subway Club foot long with double meat double cheese and in a regular meal! WOOHOO! it feels good to eat so much! haha! oh! why did I add so much stuff? Because there was this promotion going on at the Subway @ NorthPoint.. I have no idea why, but its only available there. Double cheese at half price and double meat HALF PRICE TOO!! hahah! although it added up to $14 for my subway meal, but its CHEAPER!! hHAHHAHHAHAH!~ okok.. I'm a subway addict. OK?

HAHAHAHA! just know that boss did something to Christina's mouse this morning.. haha! super funny!! IT WAS MY APRIL FOOL'S DAY PRANK LEH!!! I want to claim copyright!! =P

anyway, today is pretty weird... I mean not during the school session. But after that. haha! was getting on a cab with Raffy from North Point to go back to office. Then, the cab driver was this 20/21 years old young man! GOSH! the thing is he is serving NS right now, has an off day today and DRIVING TAXI!! hahaha.. its quite weird i guess.. I mean, normally one would either slack at home or go out with friends... but but but... driving... and with a taxi... hmm... not so the match.

ANyway, I think the guy is gay. HAHA! i mean from the looks, the way he speaks and the way he act la.. haha! but I shant judge him.. its just a thought. haha! =)

YAY! CGM LATER! looking forward to it.. and the submission of report is next monday! PHEW! i managed to finish it!! hahaha! hopefully it is good. and AAAAHHHH!!! I HAVE NO IDEA ON WHAT TO DO FOR MY PRESENTATION!!!

I guess its raining throughout the whole Singapore currently. If not, the rain at the west side has stopped which traveled to the east side. The office feels so shiok to be in right now.. haha! air-con plus rainy weather. Ahhh.. Perfect match. haha!

just came back from SCSS Youth Programme. I would say, it was quite a good time there despite being quite tiring and not much of a progress for the students in terms of planning. But I do appreciate them coming for the programme and not whine about it. One of the students have left a pretty good impression on me.. Hmm.. Better impression would be the word. haha! I could see him making more effort in participating.. IT IS GOOD!! ^^

There's quite a number of things happening for this week. Like Jingwei flying off tomorrow (which reminds me that I have to be at airport tomorrow), watching movies, meeting up with other people, decentralise service on saturday (with Taste of Freedom! I wonder what food are we eating..) and many other things which I can't remember suddenly. haha!

Gonna meet Daniel for awhile later.. time to catch up man.. its been a long while since we chat. I hope it will be a great fellowship time.. haha!

Met up with Darren yesterday night for dinner. Well, quite a nice time together I would say. Getting to know him more and also having to share some things make the meeting very fruitful. The small boy working at McDonalds is something that amazes me. haha! oh well..

Passed him the certs for TVC'09 and got to kajiao someone (shh.. only between the two of us ok?) hahaha! =P

anyway, I'm really glad to have known Darren. I think this guy here is quite an interesting guy to know. Someone independent and also very funny. haha! love it when I get to make his hair. cause, it DOESNT GETS MESSY!!! ARGH! not fair. LOL.. =)

As the title mentions, I'm about an hour away from end of today's work. haha! Today is quite straining for me as I've finally get some breakthrough on my coding. 5 more weeks to go!! MAN! I don't know if I can finish it on time, but I shall persevere on!! Have FAITH!! =)

ALRIGHTY! Back in action once again for this blog of mine. haha! Sorry for being super lazy about updating as I will either forget to update it or the "tomorrow" never comes. haha! Anyway, quite a number of things happen for the past few weeks and here's some updates on it.

TVC '09
TVC'09 was a success!! The campers enjoyed themselves and us, the committee enjoyed the process as well. Even though we took less than a month to plan, it was really a rush for us. Can't imagine ourselves doing this camp with just a month worth of planning. Phew! Great work to all comm. members who put in extra efforts for this camp! Like Alfred and Oliver to had to risk their leaves for meetings and preparation. Char, Min and vege to risk some of their school stuff for it. Thanks guys for this wonderful experience and I really wanna thank VEGE CHUA TECK XIAN for a special gift at the 3rd Day. ;) [no worries, its just an evil smile. hahahah!]

CTSS camp
Back from that camp for about 3weeks ago. But it is still something worth mentioning. Was with the potential leaders for this camp and I really enjoyed myself fully with Group A!! haha! Those people really brighten the whole camp with each of them having different leader qualities. Seeing them in action really makes me feel really proud of them. The 5hours walk in Botanic Gardens and 3 hours in the pool was one thing that I really really liked for this camp. Its different from the usual ones Trybe arranged, but it totally built better relationship between us and the campers. This is also the camp which my face became the ape's butt. haha!

Had a great time on Saturday after service. It was really then I realise the true meaning of what fellowship is all about. I guess it is really when each party takes time to know each other in private times that true fellowship starts. Had one real meaningful fellowship with Melina after supper at 302 outside her place which lasted for around 3hours. Talked about lots of things and shared lots of our experiences. The one thing I truely gained, not only knowing the true meaning of fellowshipping, is that when God prompts us to do something, we need to respond quick to it. As much as we say God will always be there and stuff like that, He is also one that does not wait for us to respond. Remembering what we have went true during the S.O.S CWBS the past few weeks, I have seen the example of the Sholamite woman whom decided to hesitate when God asked her to do something. It was then that it dawned upon me that Melina's actions are by pure faith, believeing that it is from God and just do it. haha! really gained alot of that short fellowship! Thanks sister! =)

Other than all these, there are some other things that I cant really remember for now. haha! Will try to update soon when I remember I hope. hahah!

Why does romantic love leave us bewitched, bothered, and bewildered? Could it be another paradoxical tactic like handcuffing oneself to railroad tracks? Quite possibly. Offering to spend your life and raise children with someone is the most important promise you'll ever make, and a promise is most credible when the promiser can't back out.
Unsentimental social scientists agree that dating is a marketplace. People differ in their value as potential marriage partners. Almost everyone agrees that Mr or Mrs Right should be good looking, smart, kind, stable, funny and rich. People 'shop' for the most desirable person who will accept them, and that is why most marriages pair a bride and groom of approximately equal desirability. Mate-shopping, however, is only part of the psychology of romance; it explains the statistics of mate choice, but not the final pick.

Alright. was thinking of blogging something with more content in it right now. BUT, the things are in my room and not in my office!! thus, this first half of the blogpost would be rubbish as mentioned by Jingwei. haha!

Camp was great during the weekends. Like I've told a number of people, I've figured that I really prefer kids who will give you headache but REALLY fun loving!! Not that the rest are not fun loving or what. But I want to challenge myself to be able to handle more "variety" of youths. haha! one of my main goal for 2009. Anyway, the content of the camp was quite alright for me. The debriefing was rather easy I would say as the students are all intelligent kids who understands the objectives of each activities after trying it. The best moment for me was when they were playing the Moat Challenge. It was kinda cute to see them getting frustrated and doing nothing about it at first. haha! I guess I'm either sick in the mind, or I'm just enjoying their presence. =P

anyway, went for a course before the camp. I was slightly reluctant to go at first as I had to miss out almost half of the camp on Saturday. I mean missing out the first part of the camp is quite important!! I could have used the time to know the students more and build more rapport with them. but HECK! the course was AWESOME! haha! i never knew certain things were running through the minds of young people like myself! I guess its the perspective difference and that's why even I myself was amazed by what was shared about YOUTHS! take note, the course is about understanding youths and knowing how to work with them.. So, the volunteers attending the course are like above 23 yrs old. There are even people as old as near 50 COMING OK!!! so that makes me.............. THE YOUNGEST OF COURSE!! =) haha! I guessed alot had a surprised look while I was introducing myself. but oh well. AGE DOESNT MATTER OK!!! haha! I fully enjoyed the course and I could bring myself to look in depth about youths now.

ok.. After the camp, it dawn upon me about something I've read in a book titled "C.O.N.N.E.C.T" which the author I've long forgotten. haha! wanted to share something from there, but like I said, the contents are at home. I thou shall blog again at night!! =) GREAT DAY AHEAD!

anyway, a few interesting things happened over the past few days..

firstly, I saw this person sleeping on the train. and if you people notice, some train has this advertisement with human hair that looks like they've been through some chemistry experiment. it was so funny to see that person la!! haha! look at the picture!!!

next thing. went to Springfield sec for the last session with 3H.. to prepare them for their presentation board that they have to do for meet the parent session. Like to show what they have done for the past 2 months. So i was wandering around the class and I saw THIS!!

HAPPENING RIGHT?!!! FINALLY SOMEONE WITH THE SAME NAME AS ME!!! =DD haha! so I went to ask the chairperson if he is a Singaporean. Turns out yes and no. LOL.. I mean his dad is a Philippino and thus the name. SO COOL LA!

ok.. back here to update my blog now.. wooooh! i'm pretty tired today though.. but rather relaxed at the same time.. oh.. I just killed a cockroach which happen to appear behind my seat.. thanks to Mdm Mas who told me about it.. if not the wheels of my chair might just crush it in the end =X

anyway, it was quite a week for me since last week. had CGM at Mark's place and it was really good! we headed out for supper at bukit timah area before heading home with Ken and Jing wei. Man! it was such a good time chatting and knowing more about each other. =)

Saturday went to meet up with Sheilina and vege for lunch at IMM.. it was a good time of talking and joking around. we even tried FISH SPA!! woo!! it was SUPER ITCHY LA!!! and sheilina total don't dare to put her feet into the pool.. haha! she was screaming and screaming for the 10minutes -.- but still, a great time.. haha!

went off to expo with sheilina for svc.. quite a short yet funny drama this time round though. talks about the difficulties of being a mother.. well, I do learn how to appreciate my mum more nowadays.. I guess its all about the heart and not what she usually does on the outside. turns out your mum is always one who still cares for you in all situations! =)

Sunday was quite abit of SLACKING day for me.. slacked around at home till 3plus before heading to trim my hair.. now my hair looks pretty short in my own context...

anyway, met up with mum at JE mrt station to head down to IMM (yes, again!) to celebrate MAMA Day! hahah. decided on Fish&Co. (SURPRISED?!) and got seats in there.

it was really a nice time to talk about really random things and for me to rant about life.. like how I still think that going into NS is such a waste of guy's time and making us lose to girls for no apparent reason. blah blah blah.. about the Uni I wanna go and the course I'm thinking to take, etc.. haha! it was very funny to hear from my mum about things too.. I mean when I started ranting, she will like erm, put in some comments in HER own context as well.. nevertheless, it was such a blessing to go out with her and that I paid $51.10 for the meal.. haha! it is WORTH IT! =)

MONDAY. met up with Ken, Cob and Junius after work at CWP. had some time of catching up and also eating dinner of course! haha. we couldn't really think of where to eat, so we ended up at Burger King. haha! Cob and I were playing with the sign and this is what it became...

haha! yeah! LOOK DOWN TO THE NEXT COUNTER WHEN YOU SEE THIS SIGN! I wonder if there's any people who really looked down to check when they see the sign. its gonna be really hilarious if someone really did that!

WEDNESDAY..... had staff outing to partly celebrate Mirabel's birthday and also for sometime of bonding and relaxation.. To sum it up, it is TIRING and FUN! hahahaha! we went to Suntec to eat at Kushinbo (i think its spelt this way)...

its an one hour buffet where we eat all we want and its all JAPANESE FOOD! hahaha! took alot of food and here are some evidence!

after which, we went to West Coast area for Combat Skirmish!! its something like laser quest, just that you play it outdoors and with much heavier and bigger guns!! it was really fun trying to snipe people, sneak attack and also just chiong to attack! haha! had a great time runnning, shouting and screaming at the park area. I hope the residents don't complain the company! lol..

ok.. so I've been neglecting my blog for like I-Dont-Know-How-Long already..

anyway, some photos to talk about the past few weeks... its been lots of fun and great time with people I treasure.. woohoo!!

Went to Easter service with cob and kenneth on saturday to chill and relax.. it was a great time over there and I was really touched by the drama. Nevertheless, went to Paya Lebar (which cob couldn't pronounce back then) for dinner with his CG.. had some time talking with some of the peeps in there and they were really open.. =)

after dinner, both of us had a random idea of watching movie and so we went to Plaza Sing for Shinjuku Incident.. well, the movie was quite alright I guess. Nothing much that attracts me.. except for the many parts which cob and I laughed loudly at when people's hand got chop off.. haha! =P

hang around to chat near City Hall Supreme Court area.. found this "Our Glorious Dead" thinggy and started to take photo with it.. the above two pictures are the nicer ones we took.. It was really awesome and I thank the Sexy Black for it! WOOHOO! haha! had a really great time with cob that day. Thanks bro!

Went out with Sheilina buddy on a nice Sunday.. it was quite fun as we had a fun time playing around and window shopping.. heh heh.. anyway, it was a good time chatting and also spending time with each other. Best of all, I happen to keep bumping into ZW and Aziz.. haha! I think they stalked me.. heh.. =P

Met up with GL, Joyce and Clem for dinner at Sakae Sushi on Monday. It was kinda like a farewell dinner for GL as he was going into Tekong on Tuesday.. haha! great disappointment when I couldn't see him BOTAK.. oh well.. soon I shall see it.. MUAHAHAH! had a great time catching up with them.. esp that idiot GL.. friends for 11 years is just so fun.. hahahhaha! yeah.. hope he's doing fine in Tekong and not get chased around by wild boars! =P

Tuesday was kind of an exciting day in office.. while cleaning up the poster area, Dy and I found this lizard stuck on the double sided tape!!! haha! we called on boss and Mirabel to take a look before coming up with a solution to get rid of it.. haha! the picture above shows the BRAVE SOUL who took care of the lizard using a tong.. haha! it was so funny when mirabel and I watched him doing the job behind the doors inside office. The best part was we kept hearing "EEEEEE..." from Dy while he's outisde.. haha! hilarious end to the office hours before I left for my half day off. haha!

Took time after school's briefing yesterday to hang around with Kenneth while waiting for cob to finish his BS. went to Central Mall to find him after our movie at MS to watch Fast & Furious 4.. well.. an O.K only show i can say.. not really interesting enough.. hmm..

anyway, ate at Manhattan Fish market which the food is BAGUS! haha! knew a couple more people and off we went with the usual photo taking thinggy.. haha. the above picture shows how cob prepares before taking a photo shot.. HILARIOUS POSE!! =P

Went to clarke quay area to walk around and also to chat after Central Mall.. had some time of laughter and joking around esp. about cob.. haha.. I guess he's like the joker and clown of the group!! never ending laughter.. the end of day was good as all of us took train home after that.. =)

Ok.. I saw and heard this from Vanessa's blog.. HE IS THE BEST SINGER ON EARTH OK!! hahaha! my current IDOL!! xD

well.. today is one of the more tiring day in office... I think packing logistics is much much MORE tiring than doing multiple programs a day.. haha! cause you have to pack, check, pack, find things, check, buy things, pack, check, find things again, pack, check, file things and check one last time.. LOL.. I've been packing like since 1230pm till 10minutes ago.. and I didn't even have time for Facebook >.<

met up with AGS@AGL and JWJM for dinner yesterday.. sorry for being late but I already tried leaving early already!! so cannot blame.. somemore I come from Tampines... so yeah! hahahaa! anyway, we went to this Korean Restaurant which is in a shopping centre beside Furama Hotel.. The price was quit alright and food is OISHI! haha! I ordered this cold noodles (picture will be posted on a later date when I get it from JWJM) which multiplies as I eat it.. I MEAN IT!! the noodles looked never ending until I started to fill quite full.. haha!

I pretty much like the service over there though. They were patient and soft-spoken.. meaning they treat their customers very politly and don't anyhow shout across the restaurant.. so I would recommend that place =)

Alright. Its been the 2nd week of my school holidays and I've realised my blog lags updates!! haha!

A few thing to update...

1) I'm currently intern-ing at Trybe. That means all dates MUST BE after 6pm at least. haha! Well, its great fun working there as all the staffs are a bunch of crazy peeps! haha!

Taken just to test test how i look in my new hair color. (OOPS! this is also a new update! haha!)

2) THOMAS's 20th BIRTHDAY!! well, did a preaceful celebration for Thomas our Laoda.. So sad he had to book in at evening time on his birthday.. I don't know whether to call it suay or lucky. haha! =)

3) VEGE imported to China, Harbin!! haha! well, kinda miss not having someone around which you kajiao like around 90% of your time with him.. haha! CNY day 1 and other updates

YO HO! haha! its finally CNY and here's wishing everyone a HAPPY and PROSPEROUS LUNAR NEW YEAR!! haha!! get lots of red packets and many many KA-CHINGS!!! hahahah! =)

well, I'm kinda lazy to update alot of things right now cause I'm kinda hungry already

Not forgetting MY OWN BIRTHDAY (will update about that SOON i hope...).. haha! AH KU's birthday was celebrated by a bunch of damn good people at a very interesting location.. haha! =) one of the pictures I've taken after the party!! haha!

well.. in order to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New year.. I have to make trips to different shopping centre to search for my clothes.. no worries. I didnt buy this.. just trying it out and like yea.. haha! not very nice la actually..
Went to watch "InkHeart" with Preston, yekai, vanessa, glenda, jiaying, vege and adlar.. was quite a so-so movie I would say.. not very nice.. so I wasnt being entertained by the movie.. haha! and Yekai has this new specs.. (erm.. fake ones) and preston and I took turns to try.. this is the outcome.. haha! looks very idiotic.. LOL

went to Holy Innocents High School on saturday for Service Learning workshop.. haha! it is a very interesting school I would say because they are like quite different from the usual students that we encounter in various schools. For some, they are quiet while the rest are rather interactive.. had this "Sweetest King" activity with them.. this is what my group came out.. a cake.. haha! for the youths!! and I think its quite a good job done! LOL.. the wordings and the white deco on the cake is done by ME!! lol.. click on the pic for larger view..

so currently I'm waiting for all my relatives to come over so we can start the steamboat! DAMN HUNGRY LA! hahaha! and movie later on.. hopefully got bowling too! lol.. but i dont think so.. considering we all are going to have supper.. LOL.. GEMOK LIAO!! haha!
